Democrats Increase Taxes(Again!)

Where is the outrage? The Democrats just raised our sales tax by $1.2 Billion per year and nobody cares.

Here is a tip. When the Democrats propose a temporary emergency tax, don’t go for it. It is a trick. As long as we have Democrats there will never be a temporary tax.

Gray Davis just spent last year’s $8 billion dollar budget surplus and nobody cares. Where are the checks and balances? Isn’t the legislature supposed to approve such spending? How can the Governor spend that much money all by himself?

The Democrats have just increased the size our government again and nobody cares. They have added $410 million dollars to the State budget for new bureaucrats. We already have too many worthless bureaucrats. We don’t need to add 10,000 more. That will mean 10,000 more voice mail systems that will be set on ignore. That will be 10,000 more flunkies to play pass the buck. And we are paying for them.

The Democrats have increased spending so much that even after their tax increases the State is still projected to run a deficit of between $1.4 to $4.0 Billion dollars next year.

The Democrats take the gasoline sales tax that is supposed to be used for roads and they put it in the general fund so they can spend it. But nobody cares.

This is not monopoly money that the Democrats are spending; it is our money from our paychecks. Isn’t anyone paying attention? There should be protests in the streets of Sacramento. But nobody cares.

I, for one, am outraged!
