| In the name of Florida election
reform, Florida Senator Daryl Jones, D-Miami, has introduced legislation
that would automatically allow ex-convicts to vote in elections.
Senator Jones states that Florida is the home of about 600,000 ex-convicts and he has successfully fought to pass two bills through committee that put ex-convicts one step closer to being able to vote again. It is expected that once this law passes the Democrats will enjoy a huge windfall of votes from their newly enfranchised constituents. On a related note, Democrats continue to insist that the votes of military servicemen serving abroad should be disqualified. |
