McAuliffe Perpetuates Propaganda

Thank goodness we have C-SPAN with their unedited coverage of American politics. When we watch the news on the major television networks all we get is liberal spin and Democrat talking points.

This weekend C-SPAN televised the Democratic National Committee’s(DNC) winter meeting and any observer can clearly see that the Democrat party uses fear, misinformation, and racism to promote their party and to unfairly demonize the Republican Party.

Terry McAuliffe was given the Chairmanship of the DNC to the dismay of the candidate who had the support of organized labor and minorities, former Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson, a prominent African-American. If a Republican had orchestrated this kind of snubbing they would be picketed by the NAACP. But since McAuliffe was Bill Clinton’s personal hundred million dollar ATM machine it is okay.

McAuliffe’s acceptance speech was riddled with lies and innuendos. He started his speech out saying, “If it wasn’t for Katherine Harris, Jeb Bush and Jim Baker tampering with the ballots in Florida Al Gore would be President ...” and he compared the difference between Republicans and Democrats by saying, “Democrats are not for cutting Social Security or Medicare or re-fighting the civil war.”

Give me a break. Republicans have no intention of cutting Social Security or Medicare. This is what democrats say to scare senior citizens. And the remark about the civil war is definitely intended to try to paint Republicans as racists. Which is flatly wrong and totally irresponsible and divisive.

But the dems like to keep repeating these untruths because they realize that if they tell a lie enough times, regardless of how ridiculous it is, people will eventually believe it. This is a little technique that was perfected by Adolph Hitler.
