Republican Gazebo Highlight of AV Fair
August 25th through September 4th join State Senator Pete Knight, Assemblyman George Runner, Mayor Frank Roberts and a host of GOP hopefuls who are running for the upcoming election at the GOP Gazebo located at the AV Fair.  Volunteers are needed to help register voters and hand out literature.  Call Randy Malcolm for details at 722-3838.

GOP Leaders Hold Grand Opening for Local HQ
GOPopening.jpg (43934 bytes)(LANCASTER) – On Wednesday, August 16, 2000, local Republicans celebrated the Grand Opening of one of the first GOP Headquarters in the Antelope Valley. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place to officially open the doors of the Lancaster headquarters at 612 B Lancaster Blvd. Attending the campaign kick-off event were: Rep. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon, Assemblyman George Runner, and Steve Kass L.A. Region Co-Chair and close personal friend of George W. Bush. 

A new shipment of Bush-Cheney signs, bumper stickers and pins were distributed to those in attendance. The hours of operation for the Lancaster Republican Headquarters is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday until the November election. Volunteers and supporters are encouraged to call (661) 940-9475 for more information regarding future Headquarters openings.
