Sharon's Final Report from Philly

Hi Everyone!

We are truly "hyped" tonight to get all you volunteers motivated to bring in GWB as president. I hope you all watched the wonderful speeches and our very own Assemblyman Abel Maldonado, speaking in Spanish, motivating all the Hispanics to get out and support Bush.

Another night full of unbelievable people in the crowd. Henry Kissinger, Charlton Heston, Bekah Runner! We brought Bekah - our 12 year old - down on the floor tonight, she was interviewed by some newspapers about what she liked about the speech. She said the part about supporting adoptions, cause she was adopted! She also had her picture taken with a Californians for Bush sign with balloons with a couple of AP photographers.

Then afterwards, she called her grandma and CSPAN camera crew came over and grandma saw her saying hi to her on the TV! The balloons, confetti and fireworks, inside! She will never, never forget this night a new young republican was born, except for Dean and Oanh's
daughter, Madison, she's the youngest!

Everyone at the convention was so excited, as well as you could tell from TV, and ready to WORK, WORK, WORK! I understand Bush is coming to California next week, touring California by train! I will keep you informed on where his "Whistle Stops" will be and we can all greet him there.

I look forward to coming home tomorrow. Hope you were able to get a little glimpse of what it was like here in Philadelphia!
