The AV chapter was established by Attorney, Lawrence Hales. Currently, Congress of Republicans is one of the largest and fastest growing GOP organizations in the state. The California Congress of Republicans has a statewide membership of over 4000 and growing exponentially. Plans are underway to take the organization national sometime in the year 2001.
