Subject: AVCCR Installation Banquet scheduled for January 23, 2002

(PALMDALE) On Wednesday, January 23^rd, at 6:30pm, the Antelope Valley Chapter of the California Congress of Republicans(AVCCR) will perform its first changing of the guard since being chartered in 1999.

Founding President, Lawrence Hales, will hand the baton over to incoming President, Dean Henderson, in a ceremony held at Eduardo’s Italian Restaurant in Palmdale.

Also being sworn-in as officers will be Vice President Shirley Husar, Secretary Timothy Kimbrough, and Treasurer Milton Huckaby.

The chapter’s directors for the year 2002 will be Wilda Andrejcik, Patti Holt, Jan Davis, Mike Dispenza, Rick Norris, Richard Loa, Isaac Barcelona and Shawny Barcelona.

Keynote speaker for the evening will be Statewide President Dennis Catron. Catron will speak about California Congress of Republicans(CCR) vision for building a pragmatic mainstream Republican Party in California. Before becoming a charter member of CCR, Dennis Catron served as President of California Republican Assembly.

The California Congress of Republicans(CCR) is a grass-roots political organization, founded in 1989 and permanently chartered by the California Republican Party. CCR is built upon the shared Republican principles of individual liberty, genuine economic opportunities and leadership in world freedom.

Tickets for the installation banquet are $25 per person. Seating is limited. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
