Hispanics Applaud Senate Tax Cut Approval
Washington, DC-Passage of the reconciliation bill to the House with a vote of
62-38 is being applauded by Hispanics across the country. The bill, which
will eliminate the Death Tax and reduce marginal tax rates, will help
families and small business alike. We urge the Congress and the Senate to
responsibly resolve any differences in the bill before Memorial Day.
"Hispanic business owners operating as sole-proprietors will finally have
the
opportunity to invest tax savings back into their business and perhaps one
day become a major corporation, thus sharing in the American dream," stated
Mr. Massey Villarreal, National Chairman of the Republican National Hispanic
Assembly (RNHA).
"The RNHA has been a strong supporter of the Bush tax plan. A plan
that will
help families and small business is a plan that works for the Hispanic
Community. We agree with the President when he states, 'it's not the
government's money, it's the people's money,'" added Chairman Villarreal.
The RNHA is the nation's largest Hispanic Republican organization,
representing the interests of over 7 million Hispanics across the country.
RNHA advances the principles and values of the Republican Party in the
Hispanic Community and plays a leading role in educating and developing
leaders in Hispanic Communities nation-wide. For more information or to
arrange an interview with RNHA Chairman Massey Villarreal please contact
