Women's clubs.
Membership
Membership in a unit club offers automatic membership in
LACFRW, CFRW and NFRW.
Regular
monthly educational meetings are held with stimulating and
informative speakers and candidates.
Topics include elections, special issues, propositions and
current topics of general interest.
A regular monthly bulletin to inform members of meetings,
other activities, elections, State and Federal legislation and other
political items. Varied activities and interesting committees for
those who wish to participate.
An opportunity to become involved in the political process,
precinct activity, community endeavors, special events -- both
social and political.
Through NFRW members also have an opportunity to attend
Campaign Management Schools which are conducted in cities across the
country.
These schools are two and a half day seminars for both men
and women to help individuals develop skills needed to assist in
planning, financing and operating campaigns.
With great pride our PRWF gives three scholarships each year.
We participate in the NFRW program "Caring for
America" community outreach which encompasses a wide variety of
activity.
These programs include efforts to feed the hungry, shelter
the homeless, protect children--efforts designed to replace
government dependency with private sector initiatives, abuse and
drug rehabilitation.
Our PFRW fully operated and staffed the Republican
Headquarters in Palmdale during the 2000 election and are very proud
of the number of voters registered.
We work voter registration, precinct walking, phone banking
and whatever is needed to elect Republicans to office.
Two members received awards for the year for Phone Banker and
Voter Registration, respectfully.
Our President was nominated for the "Republican of the
Year" award.
Through the dedication and hard work of all of our members,
PRWF has received the Diamond Award from NFRW and the Gold Award
from LACFRW. Our President, Mary Croxen has also been written up in
the State bulletin "The California Republican Woman."
