Palmdale Republican Women Federated was founded in February
1964 under the leadership of Jeanne Tucker.
Today PRWF has a membership of over 225.
Each unit club in Los Angeles County is a member of the Los
Angeles County Federation of Republican Women, the California
Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of
Republican Women.
Today the NFRW is the largest women's volunteer political
organization in the world with approximately 160,000 members
in over 2,500 clubs throughout the fifty states, the District
of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.
A portion of each members dues pay for a legislative
advocate in the CFRW Sacramento office.
The Federation takes a position on such issues as:
Agriculture, Education, Election Laws, Land Use/Energy,
Judicial Reform/Law Enforcement and Taxation.
