3. Old Business:
a)
Nominations/Permanent Officers – A motion was made by Dean
Henderson to nominate all of the existing interim officers as candidates
for regular officers. The
motion was seconded by Rick Zamudio.
Motion was affirmed by unanimous consent of the members in
attendance. Nominations
are to be reopened at the 12/19/2001 meeting.
Meetings shall be held at Eduardo’s Italian Restaurant.
4. New Business:
a)
AVRNHA Endorsements – Motion was made by Dean Henderson to
establish a policy that this chapter shall be empowered to endorse
political candidates. Specific
endorsing procedures shall be determined later.
Shawny Barcelona seconded the motion.
Motion was affirmed by unanimous consent of the members in
attendance.
A motion was
made by Shawny Barcelona to recommend to the RNHA statewide organization
to endorse statewide candidates. The
motion was seconded by Dean Henderson.
Motion was affirmed by unanimous consent of the members in
attendance.
5. Speakers:
a) Shawny Barcelona spoke about he campaign and pledged to work hard for PSD.
b) Richard Loa spoke about his campaign strategy and relief to have won.
